In the middle of a boring work day, have you ever found yourself thinking how cool it would be to just go to a tropical island, lay on the beach, maybe go for a dive and explore the reef, or just chill and have a drink?

Now you can. The guys over at Queensland Tourism, in Australia, are offering what they say is The Best Job in the World. If you’re chosen, you’ll be appointed as Caretaker of Hamilton Island, and your duties will include regular travels along the Reef Islands, snorkeling, swimming in the pool, getting the mail, all while taking some photos and shooting some videos. You’ll then need to update a weekly blog where you’ll write about all the fun you’re having. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, so far it seems legit, and thousands have already applied. The job lasts for six months, the salary is good, plus they pay all your travel expenses and accommodation.

To apply for the job, you’ll have to post your info on the site along with a short creative video about yourself and why you’re the right one for the job. Applications end on February 22. If you’ve ever dreamed of being paid for taking a vacation to an awesome island, this one is for you!
