hey there!
By now, you can probably guess what my name is. Yup, right up there on the left corner!
I’m a web designer/developer based in Portugal. After finishing a course in New Communication Technologies, at the University of Aveiro, I also took a Masters in Multimedia Communication at the same university. I’ve built this site mainly so I could share my best work with the rest of the world, but also as a way to discuss (through the blog, of course) a whole wide range of stuff about web design and development.
I’m currently working jointly with SAPO on a project endorsed by the labs.sapo initiative called SAPO Campus, which we believe has the possibility to fundamentally change education and learning. I’m always on the lookout for fun and challenging freelance opportunities.
I guess people who normally work with me think of me as somewhat of a standardista, since I always strive to write beautiful, standards-compliant XHTML and CSS. I guess I can thank the fabulous CSS Zen Garden for that. When I learned about that project, I always knew there would be no turning back. I’m also studying to become a Javascript ninja. My main competence in the graphics field lies in Adobe Photoshop, since it’s my cornerstone mock-up tool and where all the magic begins.
